E-visa : General guidelines:

• For complete information of the e-Visa process, visit the official website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html .
• e-Visas are not processed or issued / managed by the Embassy/Consulates in Germany.
• Do not use any other website, as the e Visa should be applied only through the authorized Indian Government website (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/).
• Ensure that the applicant provides correct particulars when filling up the online e-Visa application.
• e-Visa will carry particulars as provided by the applicant. In case particulars like the name and passport number are incorrectly filled up and e-Visa issued, the Embassy/Consulate cannot correct the particulars. 
• The applicant has to apply again with correct particulars and obtain a new e-Visa. (Note: please check before final submission of your application online to avoid rejection or errors)

Afghanistan Nationals may apply online for e-visa on New AFGHAN Portal: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/avisa

Afghanistan Nationals may avail following E-visa services: Business Visa, Student Visa, Medical Visa, Medical Attendant Visa, Entry Visa or UN Diplomat Visa

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Those travelling to India are also advised to go through instructions available on the website of the Bureau of Immigration at https://boi.gov.in.
2. Each online application form is meant for one person only. A separate application has to be filed for each applicant.
3. Furnish information exactly in the manner asked for in the forms, especially the names, passport number, address and date of birth.
4. Applicants are required to verify the application details before submitting the online application.
5. They have an option to save the online application form, in case it is not to be submitted.
6. Once the online application form is submitted by the applicant, further modifications are not allowed. Hence, applicants are requested to check and validate the details before submitting the online application form.
